Dublin Comic Con 2026

As part of the Dublin Street Photography Festival I took part in a day long workshop led by two of Ireland's greatest street photographers, Des Byrne and Paul Murray.

The first part of the day was spent at Dublin Comic Con 2026, which was so far out of my comfort zone I nearly didn't get involved! After reviewing the photos I am very glad I did. The kids enjoyed having their photos taken (I was caught almost every time so for almost every photo here I have a follow up with a cheesy grin and a thumbs up - not very "street"!). The colours were amazing and it was fun learning to shoot through glass. Paul Murray leans into reflections, but I have to admit I leaned into the dehaze slider in Lightroom to mostly remove them!! However, I still love the look it gave.
