Olympus OM-1n Silver

A 35mm film camera from approx. 1980

About

At the time of writing I haven't used this camera much, but I did loan it to the amazing Julie Corcoran in Dundalk and she ran a few rolls through it and was very impressed.

The OM-1n was a slight upgrade to the OM-1 with a more ergonomic film advance lever, a flash ready light in the viewfinder, and automatic flash synchronisation. I don't take enough photos to suffer RSI in my thumb, and I don't think I have used a flash more than 3 times in my life, so it's an upgrade that is lost on me, but I will try it out and report back.

Purchased in a charity auction on eBay in 2026 for £111. In excellent working condition and fairly good cosmetic condition.
